Its public works department is responsible for providing variety of services, including trash collection, street sweeping, snow plowing, and street and sidewalk construction. The city manages the Department of Traffic and Parking, which is responsible for the design, installation and operation of public parking facilities, as well as traffic signs, signals and pavement markings.
