Yesterday, a freak wind destroyed a sort door on our house. The storm door was a Larson, from Menard's in Quincy, Ill - a 40-mile drive from our farm. I checked online for a replacement door and found one at the Quincy Menard's store. Because the door was a special order when I purchased it last summer, I wanted to speak with a live person at the store before driving a 100-mile round trip. I got "Art" in the door department. Even though there was heavy renovation going on all around Art, he was able to get my information, go outside where the doors were being stored, find and secure the exact door I needed and kept it for me for the hour and a half it took me to get to the Menard's Store.Art helped me get the door to the front cashier who also secured a gracious (and quite stout) young man who helped me load the door into my truck. Thanks to ART and the Menards' crew in Quincy, my door is fixed and my Basset hound, Roscoe, can get in out of the cold when he wants to do so. THANKS ART !!!
