West Glens Falls Emergency Squad is located in Warren County, NY and services the Town of Queensbury. We are dispatched by Warren County Sheriff's Communication Center, utilizing one of the most up to date 911 and computer aided dispatch systems in the area.Our Ambulances and First Response vehicles are certified throught the NYS Department of Health and meet all requirements set under the State Emergency Medical Services Code.Our care providers are required to maintain a 3-year certification along with CPR and Defibrillation certification. Our on-line ( advanced ) EMT's are required to maintain their status with Continuing Education Credits. They must also maintian certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.Our purpose is to provide basic to advanced emergency medical care to the sick and injured. We work hand in hand with our surrounding agencies to ensure that the residence of Queensbury will continue to receive reliable emergency services.
