General Info
Power Tags, Titles and More, owned and operated by Patricia Power and her daughter Candi Segovia, run the third-party provider, which offers services such as renewing titles and tags, transferring and replacing licenses and even performing basic inspections. "You have to be certified to do this," Power said. "We have two processors right now and they work really hard, and they always have a smile on their face." Power is partnered with the state of Arizona and each of the four current employees were required to go through the proper schooling to take up their position. Certified to do whatever a customer might need, Power offers a huge small-town feeling to a large community. "Our customers are not a number," Segovia said. "But they are number one to us," Power said. It took Power and her daughter about two years before they were able to open the establishment and they have had no shortage of business since. "It gets better and better each week," Power said. Putting customers at the forefront of their concern, Power and Segovia haven't seen a customer leave unhappy yet. "We believe in customer service, and if it wasn't for the people here coming to us, we wouldn't have our business," Power said. "So we really work to give the best customer service possible." Prices at Power's do include a small convenience fee for services offered, but outside of Power's establishment, the closest MVD services are located in Coolidge, which is no quick trip at 17 miles away. "We have a lot of people come in and thanking us for opening," Power said. Most customers say the convenience fee is "well worth it," as they no longer have to make the 34-mile round trip, nor do they have to spend time waiting in a stuffy wait room. "Customers don't have to spend their whole day at the MVD anymore," Segovia said. "It's 15 minutes in or out here." On top of the simple convenience of Power's location, customers also walk into a business that is built around their well-being. Waiting around after hours, staying late on Saturdays, which they are open unlike the MVD, and offering snacks and a reprieve from the heat, are only a few of the little things customers will notice. This, all put together creates more of an experience than a task, which is invaluable in today's fast-paced world.
