- Emergency Care“I had a lodged 6mm kidney stone in my ureter and was calling around every where. No one could get me in after going to the emergency room three times in my hometown. Called Proliance Friday morning and they got me right in Monday morning for a consultation and scheduled my surgery for that Wednesday. Dr. Street is awesome and his staff are super nice and helpful, surgery went extremely well and he was very informative so I wouldn’t be nervous. Thank you so much Dr. Street and your team you guys are amazing and I am out of pain! Highly recommend Proliance.”
- Colonoscopy“I was hospitalized September 2015 for problems with Crohn’s disease. Doctor Petty recommended that I have bowel resection surgery. I wanted to explore other options/medications and get a second opinion. He listened to my concerns and respected my wishes. In December I realized that I couldn’t put it off any longer. Dr. Petty put me at ease right away. He has a great bedside manner, explained everything thoroughly and really put me at ease. I have felt better the past 9 months than I have in 10 years. Last week I had a colonoscopy so my GI doctor could see how well the surgery took. My GI doctor said it looked very good. He said with the type of surgery I had, he only sees 1 in 10 patients that have the great results from this type of surgery. Dr. Petty not only saved my life, he definitely increased my quality of life! THANK YOU SO MUCH DR. PETTY!”

- Kidney StonesThe most common symptom of kidney stones is pain. You might have a dull ache in your back or side and, over time, the pain may increase and move towards your lower side. Bloody or cloudy urine, nausea, fever and stomach aches are other indications that you’ve developed kidney stones, a condition that, according to the National Kidney Foundation, affects 19% of men and 9% women during their lives.
- Colon CancerThere is no such thing as an unconcerning cancer diagnosis. But, in the case of colon cancer, if your tumors are small, and detected early, our surgeons may be able to remove them completely during a procedure similar to routine colonoscopy. If that is not an option, you may be a good candidate for an endoscopic or laparoscopic procedure before resorting to more invasive methods.

- RadiologyIn March 2021, a study published in the journal Radiology, found that skipping one scheduled mammogram can greatly increase a person’s risk of death. That’s because if cancer cells go undetected for any length of time, there is a chance they will grow and spread. The data in the study showed that women who participated in regular screenings had higher protection against cancer. It was found that an astonishing 50 percent of women who didn’t have regular mammogram screenings and missed an early diagnosis, died from breast cancer. Routine mammograms give patients the best chance to discover a small invasive cancer before it has spread to other parts of the body. And, when mammograms detect breast cancer early in a localized stage, the 5-year relative survival rate is 99%.
- X-Rays
- Computed TomographyKidney cancer diagnoses have been on the rise, but this may be due in part to improvements in CT scan technology that is able to detect cases that may have previously been misdiagnosed or completely overlooked. Especially when detected early, it may be possible to remove the malignant tissue via open or laparoscopic surgery while allowing you to retain both functional kidneys.

- Breast SurgeryBreast cancer surgery patients can find it hard to sleep comfortably after surgery. As with any surgery, there’s nothing more important to recovery than having a good night’s sleep. It promotes healing by providing your cells and muscles with nutrients and oxygen. Unfortunately, sleeping can be tricky after breast surgery. Side and stomach sleeping add extra medical concerns.
