Dr. David Johns has been providing exceptional care in Pierce and King Counties since 2002. A graduate of Brigham Young University, Dr. Johns completed his dental degree at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio prior to opening his first practice in Auburn. He opened Johns Family Dentistry in Puyallup in 2008 and has been working exclusively at this practice since 2009. As one who has dental fears himself, Dr. Johns has unparalleled compassion and understanding with regards to his patients fears and can help his patients feel relaxed and comfortable in his care. As a dentist, Dr. Johns has always been dedicated to providing high-quality dental care in a fun and professional manner. To consistently provide high-quality, up-to-date dentistry, Dr. Johns is a member of the Spear Institute (which provides advanced dental training) and DOCS Sedation. He is Board-Certified to administer (oral conscious) sedation, also known as sleep dentistry. All of his additional training and continuing education classes are completed for the benefit of his patients and their oral health and smiles. When he has a moment to spare, Dr. Johns loves to spend time with his family, which includes his wife of over 20 years, Tanya, and their five children. His two oldest children are currently on leave from BYU and are serving as missionaries for their church. Other favorite pastimes of his include the outdoors, flying (aerobatics), playing the piano, anything to do with Legos, and attending his church.
