Not sure where to start, Nurses and Techs are great. Behavioral Rehab (Riverside) is atrocious.Facilities are dirty, extremely outdated and depressing.On call doctors are un-professional, un-caring and RUDE.Psychiatrists dealing with patients with emotional problems should be willing to actually listen and help.These guys only want to medicate and shuffle them to the side. (As long as insurance is paying)NEVER let your loved ones into Bayside. There are ,more professional and clean options in Charlotte County.

My nephew is in the hospital dying of cancer. They didn't have a private room so was put in semi-private. My one niece wanted to stay with him last night as he is afraid which is understandable. He doesn't want to be alone. The staff told her that she had to leave because of it being a semi private room. What an awful feeling that would be if he died alone. Why didn't they move other patient to another semi-private room? I'm sure the guy would have appreciated not being in the room with a man that is dying. Hopefully my nephew will be moved to hospice house today where respect is given to the dying and their families.
