The Pullman Police Department is a full-service public safety agency that provides a variety of police services, such as crime prevention, animal control and parking enforcement. It maintains a support services section that performs police record, clerical and reception duties. The police department supports a countywide communication center that provides law enforcement, fire and emergency medical dispatch services throughout Whitman County. The Pullman Police Department operates a citizens academy that is designed to give community members insight into the form and function of the police department. It is located in Pullman, Wash.
