Since 1985, Sangre de Cristo Hospice has been providing medical care solutions for the residents of Pueblo, Fremont, Custer, Huerfano, Las Animas and Park counties in Colorado. It offers physical, emotional and spiritual support services for more than 800 terminally ill patients annually. Sangre de Cristo Hospice provides pain management, symptom control and nursing care solutions 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It offers grief counseling services and volunteer opportunities, as well as conducts educational classes for individuals and families. Sangre de Cristo Hospice administers the Clouds to Rainbows program for children between the ages 5 and 12. In addition, it offers the PAL program and maintains a bereavement camp.
