Provo & Spanish Fork Dental is an official athletic team dentist for BYU. Dr. Daryn Moody Dr. Moody has been a practicing dentist for over 20 years. Around Provo, Dr. Moody is known as a professional, compassionate dentist who is deeply committed to providing the highest-quality care to his patients. Dr. Moody believes that dental work should be pain-free and comfortable. He offers a number of sedation dentistry options to ensure enjoyable dental care. Dr. Moody received his doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1989. Dr. Moody has been married since 1983 and he enjoys spending time playing board games and card games with his children and grandchildren. He served as a Boy Scout scoutmaster for many years, and is an avid fisherman (his personal record is a 41 pounder!). In his free time Dr. Moody loves camping, singing and playing basketball. Dr. Paul Nielsen Dr. Nielsen has been a practicing dentist since 1998, and he genuinely enjoys working with patients to help them achieve beautiful and healthy smiles. Dr. Nielsen is dedicated to providing exceptional, comfortable dental care. He is especially committed to painless dentistryhe offers multiple options to make dental treatment pain-free and enjoyable. Dr. Nielsen graduated in 1997 from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio with his doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Nielsen has been married since 1996 and enjoys spending time with his four kids and keeping up with their busy schedule of activities. His hobbies include hiking and camping. Dr. Nielsen is an avid runnerhe has completed several local marathons and has even ran in the Boston marathon! Dr. Tyler B Hoelzer Dr. Hoelzer is a Utah native who completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah with a degree in Medical Biology and a minor in Biochemistry. He earned his D.D.S. degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and completed a one-year general practice residency at the University of Utah Hospital. Dr. Hoelzer spent the last two years practicing in Texas and is excited to return home to Utah. His personal practice philosophy is to treat patients as if they were a member of his family, and he strives to provide patients with exceptional, comfortable dental care.

Doctor Moody can't be trusted. My appointment was great, everyone was very nice. Dr Moody even asked me what I was most concerned with when going to the dentist.
I told him that I was very worried about how much it was going to cost, Dr Moody assured me that they would be very clear and up front with all costs associated with my dental work.
I payed my bill and left the office very happy with how everything went until..... 5 months later I was billed for another $300 out of the blue. I tried to work out a deal with their office only to find out that Dr. Moody has nothing to do with the billing. He won't even discuss it with you. Someone who doesn't have the authority to effect a bill shouldn't be reassuring anyone about the accuracy of their billing department.
I am now wondering if this isn't some sort of bait and switch that they pull.
Bad dental office, hope that you don't ever have to deal with their office manager for any reason.

My visit here was good. Dr. Phillips and Hannah were so great! Although I did feel like my mouth was held open for too long getting my cavities filled. It hurts so bad and it's hours later. Other than that, it was great.
