Life often causes deep troubled feelings: depression and anxiety, self-doubt and insecurity, tense fights in relationships, and emotional distance with loved ones. We feel hurt, put down, and wounded by those around us. We feel we don't measure up, that our feelings don't matter, and we have way more flaws than strengths.
