After having our cat treated by two other veterinarians, having a nearly fatal infection that started in his ears and became systemic, we were told that extensive surgery which would certainly lead to deafness and possible be fatal was our only recourse. We took him to Hoffman. They treated our cat immediately--with no appointment--and gave us the RIGHT medicine for his ears. he has been healthy and happy for 6 months now. These people are knowledgeable, caring and not out to make money from unnecessary lab. work

I brought my dog in because he had been vomiting for about a week along with him limping. The last time I took my dog in his liver counts where off so I was worried something was wrong with that. The doctor took his blood gave him some meds (which would have lasted him a year she gave so much) and rubbed his leg and didnt say anything about it, not even that it felt fine she didnt even say how long to give him the meds for. Once the blood work came back she said his liver count was better but never told us what the cause was. I called back 5 days later bc he had vomited again and his leg was worse I asked the women how much xrays where she could not tell me. She started to name of all these other things he could need, and I feel like they recommend a lot of things and dont give you any answers. Then I said I would prob bring him in to see what he needs and if it costs much i was going to call other vets she said thats fine and hung up! Not good customer service!!!

I've been taking my pup there since I brought her home from the breeder. Routine vaccinations and spaying went well. However, I recently took my pup in for a visit (she's a large breed - 6 months old- 60 lbs) and this vet's table was not big enough to be comfortable for my pup. To make things worse the vet did not seem to know how to maneuver around the table.I was also disappointed in the service provided during my last visit. The reason for my last visit was that my dog has been limping. To assess the problem, the vet had my pup walk down a tiny, narrow hallway, no longer than 6 feet. Not a good enough evaluation in my opinion - it's not a free visit - I expect a little bit more from my vet. Very inadequate. Although the initial visits and routine shots went well, this clinic just won't cut it for my dog.
