  Miller & Caine's immigration practice provides legal advice with respect to all aspects of the employment of foreign nationals in the United States. Our clients range from multi-national companies to closely-held and start-up businesses and non-profit organizations. We counsel our clients on immigration strategy for current and prospective employees, including professional workers, intra-company transferee managers, executives and specialized knowledge personnel, foreign medical graduates and covered health professionals, as well as recent college graduates. We assist our clients with securing numerous types of temporary nonimmigrant work status and visas, and we are experienced in all phases of the PERM Labor Certification process for obtaining legal permanent residence status for foreign-born workers. Our attorneys also assist our clients with family-based immigration matters such as obtaining temporary visas, work authorizations and permanent residence status. We continually monitor recent changes in the law in order to effectively advise our clients in this emerging and constantly transforming area of the law.

  Miller & Caine, L.L.P. was founded in January 1995 by Joe Miller and Patrick Caine. The firm originally focused its practice in the areas of transactions lending and real estate, with a particular focus on precious metals financing. These areas remain a significant portion of the firm's practice. The firm also maintains a strong and expanding immigration practice, focusing primarily in the area of business immigration as well as family-based immigration and naturalization. More recently, the firm has expanded to include a strong domestic relations practice, and to provide counseling in the areas of quick service franchise management and franchisor/franchisee relations.
