zero star they deserve...horrible service by 2 girls from Begin to the end...to over priced,and when I ask for the special butter mix that is sad on the menu,was told that became to expensive and they are not serving it(but still on the menu,false advertise) on the end,party of 5 and they automatic charge gratuity on the bill,18% plus tax on gratuity,I will complain with restaurant regulations I don't think it`s right,will see about that,we take people a lot for entertaining,but this place is no long in our list...word of the mouth is the best advertise,and the worst too...carries ,never ever again

First off the food is excellent! The food us pricey but worth it in my opinion. Portions are fair to small. The reason for the 3 stars and not 5 is due to the owners service/attitude. The wait staff is excellent but the owners come off as snobby, especially the woman. If I am going to spend good money on good food I expect to be treated with a nicer welcome and a more courteous owner. In this economy they need to realize they are not the only good restaurant in town... and can be replaced.

I have been to carries on more than one occasion. Each time i go the service has been excellent, the food, fantastic, great portioned, and fresh. If you want a taste of Great seafood Carries is a must.

thus was highly recommended to me by locals as the best place for lobster. For the winter meal we were impressed with the presentation and taste. The price was a bit high for purchasing a lobster in New England but I would go back for a special occassion.
