By remaining independently owned and operated, our employees can continue to provide the absolute best care and service that customers of Thrifty Home Medical have come to expect. In August of 2003, Tom and Paula Glover established our first Home Medical originally located in Clay, Ky. We moved into a larger facility in Providence, Ky. in June of 2004. Jason Glover opened our first Illinois location in Olney in April of 2005. We have continued to grow with 5 area locations to serve customers in the rural areas of Southern Illinois and Western Kentucky. Thrifty Home Medical provides a wide array of durable medical equipment, aids, and supplies. From home oxygen to cpap and bipap, mobility products, diabetic shoes, ambulatory aids, post-breast surgery products, aids to daily living, and ostomy supplies to compression therapy, incontinence products, maternity supplies, wound care, orthopedic supports and braces, and bathroom safety products and last, but not least, one of the largest selections of uniforms and scrubs for the medical professional-Thrifty Home Medical has it all! We go the extra mile to meet the needs of our customers! Over the years, Thrifty Home Medical has been affiliated with many local organizations. We are proud of our history. Thrifty Home Medical belongs to the local chamber of commerce in each of our locations. Also, Thrifty Home Medical belongs to the Illinois and Kentucky state associations for home medical equipment providers.
