I recently had McCausland out to my new house to replace the locks. Overall, the work was done acceptably although the professionalism could definitely be improved upon. The two guys were nice but they were rushed. I am giving the company only two stars because of the price charged for the work. I would caution anyone to be careful about the bait and switch pricing. The final price was almost double what was quoted over the phone. They charge a $95 "trip charge" AND a $100 "labor charge" in addition to the very expensive cost of replacing the locks (which did not involve any major hardware). I didn't understand the trip charge since my house is not far from their location. I questioned why the charge was almost double but the guys did not provide any satisfactory explanation. I agreed to their service based upon the reasonable quote and was taken to the cleaners when the work was completed. The company seems to price their services on the fly. Be careful.

This place is great! I needed and extra key for my car and the dealer wanted me to make an appointment and leave my car for a day! I went here, I was in and out in ten minutes, plus I paid eighty dollars less then what the dealer wanted. Fast service and a friendly staff.

I would highly reccomend!!! They are the people to see if you need an extra chip key or beeper for your car!!

Very happy with their service. When I called to have locks changed, they quoted me a fair price,and offered a senior discount. They came on time, and were very friendly. Highly recommend.

I couldn't believe of inexpensive it was to get all the locks in my house replaced. I was expecting to pay an arm and a leg, but I was wrong. Thankfully I got a great deal and the technician got it all done within one afternoon. Thanks for the great service!

The two guys who run the business, apparently brothers, are very rude and unpleasant to deal with. When you have a business, you are in public service. If you don't care to be nice, friendly, and treat others kindly, then perhaps you should close your doors. I will never spend another dime in their retail location nor ever use them for locksmith services. There are a ton of locksmiths out here who would love my business.
