General Info
Improving women’s health has been a guiding force throughout my medical training and practice. I specialize in female pelvic reconstructive surgery and treat the full range of pelvic floor disorders including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, as well as fistulas and urethral or vaginal cysts. As a urogynecologist, I offer patients both surgical and non-surgical treatment options which include behavior modification, lifestyle changes, physical therapy, medications, in-office procedures, and surgery. I completed my medical training at Harvard Medical School and my OB/GYN residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. As a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist, I completed a subspecialty fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut. Through my training and practice, I have gained extensive experience with minimally invasive robotic surgery and vaginal surgery. Robotic and minimally invasive surgery have really changed the field of urogynecology. Using these techniques, patients can receive the same great results as traditional surgery with faster recovery and less downtime. My goal is to provide the best care possible for my patients. I keep up to date with the latest evidence-based medicine and to help guide patients to the choice that is right for them. By working with pelvic floor physical therapists, urologists, and other specialists, I am able to offer a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. My research interests have also given me insights into the significant improvements in quality of life for our patients. I love that I can have a major impact on patients’ quality of life. Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and son. We enjoy exploring the Princeton area and traveling.
