I have been NY Camera?s frequent customer for over eight years, dealing mainly with Brian. So far I have never regretted going there, thanks to their very competitive prices, good merchandise quality, excellent service, ability to get stuff on back-order elsewhere, no hassle return, and, most of all, his outstanding expertise and great honest advises I got from him. While I believe NY Camera is somewhat superior to other local camera stores in most aspects, their used equipment department beats the competition hand down, as their commission is far lower (non for unsold or withdrawn), resulting in outstanding used equipment inventory at unbeatable prices. Quite often I have seen (take advantage of) EBAY prices on cameras and lenses you could touch, try, and even return (no questions asked).

how they make a profit I don't know... but I can always get the same price there as I can from places like Adorama or BHphotovideo. THey will always have my business while I'm in NJ. thanks a lot!
