Founded in 1973, Calvert Middle School offers education to students in grades six through eight. The school conducts classes in various disciplines of fine art, which include music, drama and dance. It offers a variety of sports activities, including soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, basketball, softball and baseball. It also organizes various events, such as concerts, book fairs, picnics and carnivals. In addition, the school offers books, videos, audio books and DVDs to support its curriculum. It is a part of Calvert County Public Schools, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools. Calvert Middle School is located in Prince Frederick, Md.
