Dr. Thayn performed a spay surgery on our puppy Bailey, of 5-6 months old. Months after surgery her incision site had been red and irritated, it was bothering her badly. We took her back into Thayn and he just gave us arthritis medicine for an older dog and said it was just inflammation it would go away. A month or so after that after he had killed our other dog Diesel, it was still bothering her and you could physically feel something in the incision. We took Bailey to Dr. Suzanne E. Weber, DVM at Pet Medical Center 2 1/2 hours away. She performed surgery on Bailey to remove the sutures Thayn had used in his surgery. She identified them as non-dissolving stitches and that vet's don't use them anymore. Only two weeks after Bailey's incision healed up and is fading everyday. THANK YOU DR. WEBER!!!:)

Dr. J Boyd Thayn, DVM and his staff were very dishonest to my wife and I. We dropped our beautiful Daughter off (Blue-heeler/Australian-shepherd) the beginning of the week. She was very ill and Dr. Thayn had seen her the end of the previous week. Him and his staff had her all week and the Dr. wasn't in until Thursday... we didn't find this out until late that week. Dr. Thayn could never give us an answer to what she could have had and tried performing surgery on her Friday evening. We visited her on Saturday morning and she missed us dearly as we did her. She was laying in her own vomit and diarrhea. They didn't keep her very clean and they didn't exercise her after her surgery. Dr. Thayn called us Sunday night telling us she had died...He had been at church all day and never checked her. We were left with a bill over $900, lost our sweet angel of only 4 1/2 years, the healthiest dog. If we knew they didn't look at her till Thur We could have seen another doctor and still had Diesel.
