Prairie Industries specializes in providing contract packaging and converting services. Since 1994, the company has been providing contract packaging and converting services throughout the Midwest. It employs a workforce of 200 people and maintains more than 100,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space. In 1997, Prairie Industries expanded into the food packaging business with the acquisition of Nu-Pak. The Nu-Pak facility is located in Boscobel, Wis. Nu-Pak specializes in portion packaging of cheese and ready-to-eat meat products. Prairie Industries maintains operations in Prairie du Chien, Wis.
