- Our Inn is a Quaint, country style inn nestled between the Taconic and Green Mountains in Southwestern Vermont, offers unsurpassed natural beauty, great architecture and wonderful opportunities to explore the treasures of scenic Southern Vermont and the Berkshires. At Ladd Brook Inn Pownal/Williamstown, your comfort and convenience come first with us. We offer a park-like setting for you to enjoy the spectacular view of the Green Mountains and Pownal Valley. Our younger guests will want to spend some time on our playground with swings and a slide. Each of our spotless air-conditioned rooms has been furnished with Vermont's own Ethan Allen furniture. Every room has a Writing Desk, Seating for Two, Telephone and Cable Television and Free Wireless Internet access. Typically you will find us chatting with guests or in the Cafe area where we serve our complimentary continental breakfast. Select rooms feature a Jacuzzi tub. At the Ladd Brook Inn in Pownal/Williamstown, cleanliness and exceptional customer service are what we strive for. We provide the warmth of a cozy destination, right in the middle of the best cultural amenities that the Berkshires has to offer. Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall, concerts, films, shows and exhibits arrive at Mass MoCA and the Clark Art Museum. Williamstown Theater Festival begins annually in June and lasts well into the summer. We are about 20 minutes drive from Jiminy Peak Ski Area in Hancock, Massachusetts. We also sit at the foot of Mt. Greylock State Reservation, the largest state recreation area in Massachusetts. We are a part of Shires of Vermont and close to Manchester Design Outlets and Bennington's Covered Bridges, Museums, Galleries, Antique & specialty shops, not to forget Vermont's finest - Bennington Vintage Car Show.
