General Info

A native of Massachusetts, Dr. Allan graduated from Cornell University and the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. After completing an internship and residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York City, he completed a fellowship in infectious diseases at Massachusetts General and Deaconess Hospital in Boston. Dr. Allan is Board Certified in internal medicine and infectious disease and a member of the American College of Physicians. He began practicing in 1985, and joined Internal Medicine Associates in 1996. Dr. Allan lives in Knoxville with his wife and two children.
