Bill Comer acquired the funeral home in Poway from the original owner in 1977. When Bill decided to retire in 1997, he sold the business to his son Carl Comer. Carl is presently the owner and manager of the mortuary. Our Poway, California Funeral Home is proud to serve families with compassion and dignity. Our staff members are experts in the funeral industry and are able to handle any type of situation that is presented. The distinction between a privately owned mortuary or Funeral Home from the corporate firms is the extra attention that is given to honor the wishes of the person who has been entrusted into their care. There is no limit in the amount of time spent honoring the deceased. All of our Funeral Directors and staff have been hand selected based on their qualifications and experience, and for their ability to lend their support and guidance to family and friends at a very critical time.
