The Law Office of Jill Clement is a General Practice law firm located in Poughkeepsie, NY. I am currently open to representing clients in Dutchess, Ulster, Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester Counties, as well as New York City. Services include, but are not limited to the following areas of law: FAMILY AND MATRIMONIAL LAW - Including Adoption, Child Custody and Visitation, Child Support, Contested and Uncontested Divorce, Domestic Violence and Orders of Protection, Guardianship, Separation Agreements, Mediation, Pre Nuptial Agreements, and Property Settlement Agreements. ESTATE PLANNING AND ELDER LAW - Providing asset and family protection through the drafting of various documents, including: Wills, Power of Attorney, Living Will/ Health Care Directive, Trust documents, Life Estate deeds, Guardianship, Animal Trusts. CRIMINAL DEFENSE CORPORATE - Including but not limited to the formation of corporations and other business entities, drafting and negotiating contracts, employment agreements, buy/sell agreements, and real estate matters. PERSONAL INJURY ANIMAL LAW LANDLORD/TENANT INTERNATIONAL LAW REAL ESTATE - Including residential and commercial closings, drafting and reviewing leases, and mortgage foreclosure defense.In addition, I am available to appear on behalf of residential lenders in foreclosure litigation matter such as Mediation Conferences, Motions and facilitate short sales, loan modifications, and deed-in-lieu of foreclosure. I am also available to cover appearances for other practitioners in town courts, Family Court, New York Supreme Court (civil and criminal parts) and Federal Court, including Bankruptcy Court, throughout Dutchess, Ulster, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, and Westchester counties in New York.
