Brenda Hoskins has over 20 years experience working with a wide variety of clients and situations. Brenda Hoskins is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Multi-Cultural Psychotherapist working with relationship issues, with both adults and adolescents. Brenda Hoskins is a certified DOT Substance Professional (provider) and trained Crime Victims and Sexual Trauma Crisis Counselor. She has worked for the Department of Mental Hygiene as a Substance Abuse Counselor for 7 years, a Rape Crisis advocate for 2 years and as a Child Abuse Investigator for 5 years. Her experience includes working in the battered women's shelter. Special interest/expertise includes working with adolescents and domestic violence. Brenda Hoskins has worked with both adults and adolescents. Her therapeutic emphasis utilizes play therapy with children and adolescents. Brenda Hoskins earned her Masters in Social Work in 1990 from Adelphi University and my Bachelors in Social Work in 1983 from Marist College.
