The Hill School, located in Pottstown, Pa., and established in 1851, is a college preparatory school that provides career-oriented courses. The school s curriculum includes English, modern languages, mathematics, history, science, arts, theology and philosophy. It also offers courses in technology and computer science, such as computer programming in Java, Visual Basic, computer-aided drafting, and photo and video editing. It also offers various advanced-level placement courses, including art history, biology, calculus, chemistry, computer science, English and macroeconomics. The Hill School has a library with a large collection of curriculum books and online catalogues, and offers digital classrooms for a variety of technology-intensive courses, such as network engineering and digital arts. The school also offers an honor council, community services programs and wellness and support services.
