- Potomac Paddlesports is an award-winning, beginner-friendly kayak and paddleboarding school and outfitter. We're a small, independent, locally-owned specialty shop serving the needs of local paddlers and outdoor enthusiasts. We provide expert instruction in whitewater kayaking, sea kayaking, and stand up paddleboarding, and offer guided recreational kayaking trips, whitewater rafting, and SUP yoga. We offer free gear rentals to our paddling students and sell a wide variety of paddling gear and accessories, Patagonia apparel, and running gear.
