  Keep your retainer clean by brushing it gently with a toothbrush and toothpaste. You may also soak it in denture cleaner as instructed by our orthodontist. Do not put your retainer in boiling water or in the dishwasher.

  Jaw surgery, or orthognathic surgery, may be needed if your oral health, function, and appearance are affected by problems that cannot be corrected through more conservative treatments. Surgical treatment may be needed to correct abnormalities in the teeth, jaws, or facial bones. It is especially important to receive the treatment you need if these abnormalities are causing difficulties in speaking, chewing, eating, sleeping, and other routine activities. In addition to making these activities easier and more comfortable, jaw surgery can help to improve your oral appearance and even the appearance of your overall facial profile.

• Invisalign Orthodontics
  Invisalign is a state-of-the-art corrective treatment that uses a series of clear aligners printed to fit snugly over your teeth and give you the smile of your dreams. We take 3D images of patients’ teeth using our iTero® scanner and then use these images to create clear aligners that are unique to you. Invisalign is printed with SmartTrack® thermoplastic, a material created with your comfort in mind.
• Braces
  It’s a common misconception that braces are predominantly for teenagers when in reality braces are meant for all ages! As long as a patient’s mouth is healthy and needs corrective treatment, they are candidates for braces. Children are no exception to this rule. Kids’ mouths are still forming, and this can make it easier to fix problems that may prove trickier once the jaw is set. If you believe your child could benefit from braces, we are excited to help you start this journey and want to work with you to make sure your kid has the best oral health possible.

  Tina has been with the practice since Feb 1, 2024. She graduated from dental assisting school in 1991 and has 33 years of assistant experience along with continued education every year. She’s always prided herself in pursuing excellence in all that she does. She has been married for 30 years with 1 daughter who is 19. Her #1 hobby is traveling! She’s also a lifetime jewelry maker. She owns her own business doing permanent jewelry, tooth gems and teeth whitening. Her favorite part about being at the practice is great patient care and everyone goes above and beyond to work as a team. If she could be any animal, it would be an eagle, so that she could peacefully soar and watch over everyone. She and her family are obsessed with boating and being on the water! Give them a wave is you see them out on Coeur D’Alene Lake!

  Dr. Brent was eager to continue learning while seeing the world and was offered a position with the United States Air Force (USAF) in the Health Professions Scholarship Program. While appointed in the USAF as a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery), his professional achievements really “took-off”. Because of Dr. Brent’s appreciation for the beauty of natural and healthy teeth plus his close attention to detail, orthodontics seemed a perfect match. After six years of refining his skill set in general dentistry, he became 1 of 6 dentists across the military selected into orthodontic specialty training at TORP (Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program). Dr. Brent quickly accumulated extensive experience in interdisciplinary care and surgical orthodontic treatment while collaborating with Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons stationed around the world.
