AAging Better In-Home Care is one of North Idaho's largest and most trusted providers of quality, affordable in-home care services for seniors and the disabled of all ages, including newborns. Serving the five northern counties since 1996, our services cover all non-medical in-home needs but also include skilled nursing care for the severely ill or disabled, for Respite and companion care, for personal care services of all types and for Hospice and the state Homemaker Program. These options provide the ability for seniors and the disabled to "age better" in their own homes and live independently at home in a safe and secure environment. We understand the deep concern involved when seniors or others face the possibility of saying good-bye to the familiar surroundings and comfort of home. As age-related situations arise or individuals need skilled nursing care, they or their loved ones are faced with the decision of whether or not to leave home for other living or caring arrangements. However, we offer those wanting to stay in their own homes the option of doing so. Our experienced and caring employees provide up to 24-hour care, 7 days-a-week at some of the most affordable rates offered in North Idaho. From two hours per day up to 24-hours per day, seniors and other individuals can feel comfortable remaining in their own homes knowing that a caring provider or nurse will be there to assist any time of day or night. Our caregivers provide help with the everyday tasks of daily living such as meal preparation, medication reminders, laundry, light housekeeping, shopping, errands and many other chores. And our nursing staff can provide virtually any skilled medical care needed in order to keep individuals safe and effective at home, regardless of the illness or disability. While we don't offer physical therapy or occupational therapy as Home Health agencies do, as a comprehensive in-home care agency we can assist with just about any other needs seniors and the disabled may have.
