Gorton Law Offices is a full service law office dedicated to providing clients with comprehensive and effective legal representation in a wide range of areas. Attorney Vernon L. Gorton is a graduate of Providence College and a cum laude graduate of Western New England College School of Law. He has been engaged in the general practice of law in Rhode Island since 1981 and opened his own office in 1990. Attorney Gorton has fourteen years of experience as Town Solicitor for the Towns of Middletown and Portsmouth as well as service as Special Counsel to the Town Council, Zoning Board and Tax Assessors of the Town of Little Compton and the Zoning Board, Canvassing Authority and Housing Authority of the Town of Tiverton, while maintaining an active private general practice.
