On my Top 5 places to stop in for a great value meal and/or beverage. When I think of Portsmouth, I think of BG's Bouthouse!! Pleasant and friendly staff. The restaurant overlooks the cove and is in a hide-a-way spot with seating inside, out on the deck or by the bar area. I can't take myself away from the seafood selection ... it's that good!! Not too sure on what's on the full menu for poultry, meats, ect. Great place for the family, dates or just to sit and relax, all in a casual atmosphere. Always busy, but never a problem getting seated. This is one of those places that the locals don't want to tell anyone so they can have it for themselves!! Call to check the hours as I have taken bike rides up from Mass to find that they have limited their hours in the off-summer season. I'm looking forward for this Sunday (4/4/09) as it will be the start of my 6th year of stopping in. I do not work there or know anyone who does .. this is my honest and un bias opinion!! ENJOY! I know I will!
