This was our first time here and I am very picky about restaurants and the service. I have to say my husband and I loved the food and the the service was great

THIS PLACE IS not that great at all !!!! The chips were stale, the service was slow, and the owner seems like he doesnt even have a high school education. I am going to stick with the AWESOME Mexican food, where the chips are always hot and good, and that is at "La Playa" in Corpus !!!

Food was good. waited quite a while for drinks, chips were super stale. What bugged me the most was both my wife and I ordered fajitas.....we were served 2 (TWO!) tortillas for BOTH of our orders, then I asked for more...we got 2 more....then I asked for more and guess what! We got 2 more :)..i dont like that.

Chips are soo stale! We went once and it was okay just the chips then decided to go back and the beans where so salty we couldn't even eat them. The waitress said they where trying to figure out what it was that or the rice. I had nachos, so salty so i asked for enchiladas by the time i got them i guess i lost my appetite. They didn't do anything about it and still charged extra for fajita chicken. Their shredded chicken is crappy, way to dry and taste old. This place is way over rated maybe it used to be good.

Never again! The owner use to do the cooking but now he's moves to the new location in Portland and the original location is going down FAST. We ate there last night and found- almost swallowed a piece of RAW chicken larger than asilver dollar in a beef chimichanga! The manager was not even apologetic! We had to demand that the item be taken off the bill! She literally said "I didn't cook it!" and bc none of the cooks claimed to have been responsible- "there was nothing she could do!". We are calling the health dept. Eat at your own risk!!!!

Girls very unorganized at moment. Sure it's crowded but thats how lots of eating places get at one time or another. Hire girls that want to work and not complain.

Loved it! Margaritas were fantastic. Food was good. Chips were stale. But I will come back again and again.

Okay food, bad service. We waited approximately 30 minutes to be seated. Then we waited about 10 minutes for a waitress to get our drinks, then 5 minutes to order. The chips were stale, the salsa was not too bad. We had a pretty simple order, it took about 30 minutes for the food to arrive. It was warm on very hot plates as it had been sitting on a warmer for a while. Then we had the pleasure of waiting another 10 minutes for silverware. Overall the food wasn't badly flavored or cooked, but lukewarm is not a good way to serve it. As we were checking out we heard the manager making all sorts of excuses to another customer. In the end it seems like the management and staff doesn't have it together.
