My first review... I have been taking my Malamute mix, Griffin, to Townhouse for grooming and the occasional boarding for the past 4 years. Today I noticed an enormous hotspot on his tail. He wouldn't let me near it to cut the matts out, so I called my vet to see if they could just shave him and how much it would cost. The vet told me that I would have to pay $50 for a check up, then additional $$ for the shaving and antibiotics. I've know from prior experience that this would run me close to $100 (I knew it was a hot spot and it's not infected...I just needed a shave). At 5:10, 20 minutes prior to Townhouse closing, I get the brilliant idea to call them to see if they could shave him. Kim answered the phone (as always) and told me to bring him right down...no problem! She did a wonderful job of shaving the spot, and applied saline and bacatrine (?) to his tail. Best of all she didn't even charge me. Fantastic customer service Townhouse! Thank you and I will continue to us

It was great! I was especially pleased b/c my vet told me it would cost close to $1000 to have my cat's ears cleaned b/c he doesn't like people coming at his face so they'd have to put him under & you guys did it for the normal cost. I'm VERY happy with your services.

Kudos for being open on Mondays! This is one of the only places to get my pup's nails trimmed on a Monday. Plus, they carry specialty dog foods - a nice bonus. Parking is easy on the street in front.

Loved it! Jake showed up a dirty 11 year old mutt and went home a dapper young show dog, down to the bandana around his neck.

During the past 10 years I've taken two dogs to Townhouse for grooming and boarding. Both were a bit neurotic and didn't do well at other places. But each one ran to the entrance when I brought them to Townhouse, which told me all I needed to know. I highly recommend this business.

I've always been happy with Townhouse's bathing/grooming of our Pembroke Welsh Corgi, but she's pretty easy to deal with: normal pet hair, good disposition, etc. But when we got our Keeshond puppy, Banjo, that's when Townhouse really impressed me. These are fluffy-furred beasts that can be quite tricky to groom properly. Not only that, but since he's only a puppy, he's not wholly accustomed to being bathed and brushed yet. Well, Townhouse did an absolutely perfect job with him. He went in as a scraggly little pup and came out looking poofy, handsome, and happy. Not only did he look great, but the prices here are far more reasonable than any other groomer we've looked at. I can't speak for the cat grooming, but I'd highly recommend these folks for your pup!

I took my shipooh, Sasha, to the Townhouse Pet Care Center for the first time this morning at 7:20am and picked her up at 12pm and she looked AWESOME! We just moved here two weeks ago and we needed a new place to get here grooming and I think we have found it. We already have another appointment set, so I am extremely happy with not only the services they offer, but their customer service and friendliness. Also, the owner took the time to speak with me for about 10minutes, which I thought was an added value. I highly recommend this establishment.
Long and the short of it-1. Not what they said they were. Said dog would have run of a crate/cage & dog run. Trruth dog in a cage all day, let out for bathroom and 2-3 play times in run.2. They lost my dogs favorite toy she nurses on.3. Dog contracted colitis (stress induced) while in their care but they did not notify us of any diarrhea or lack of eating on their charts. They said they gave her a mercy bath which we have come to realize was due to our puppy having diarrhea at night. She came home 10am Tueswith diarrhea, proceeded to mess her crate and self over night we took her to the net the next day (9am Wed) and they said she had a sever case of colitis and has lost 6-9 lbs over the 5 days plus one at home since we dropped her off.Not on mention of diarrhea, lack of eating, blood in stool or listless ness. Vet said for the dog to loose that much weight (was roughly 70 lbs) she would have had symtoms for about 3 days. Our dog is 8.5 months and was severly dehydrated and could have died. A little heads up would have been helpful from the kennel but they just gave us a great rating and said all was super.Never again will we use their facilities.
