The Children's Clinic was founded in 1911 by Dr. Joseph Bilderback. He was the first Pediatrician in the Northwest and founded the Pediatric Department at the Oregon Health Science University. The Children's Clinic was originally located in downtown Portland. Now over 100 years later the clinic has moved and expanded to included two full service sites.

Our two pediatric clinics in the Portland metropolitan area are located in SW Portland and Tualatin. Our Peterkort office is in the Peterkort Centre, near St. Vincent Hospital and the junction of US 26 & Oregon 217. Our Tualatin office is on the Meridian Park Hospital campus, just off Interstate 5 at the Tualatin-Sherwood exit.The Physicians and Staff of The Children’s Clinic understand both the importance of your family’s health and the value of your time and resources in today’s busy lifestyle. In an effort to provide those services we have a superb support team that works closely with our 24 physicians to bring you superior quality care. From our 24/7 advice nurses to our onsite lab and x-ray, we offer all of the amenities necessary to ensure the highest quality care. The Children’s Clinic provides on-site Spanish interpreters and offers services for our hearing impaired parents or patients along with translation for other languages.Our comprehensive electronic medical records system ensures that whether you seek care with your primary care physician, a job share partner, or during our urgent care hours, your most up to date health information is easily accessible to your provider. The Children’s Clinic has a relationship with all Portland area children’s hospitals, and accepts all major insurance carriers.
