I am attending the LPN program at Sumner and overall the school is a good choice. Thier materials and equipment are up to date, thier nursing faculty is knowledgable, engaging and commited to the students learning. The program director is professional, well educated and very well trained in all aspects of nursing. My only dissatisfaction is that even though the nursing instructors are very knowledgable they dont communicate well with each other and coordinate tests based on what was actually taught in the classroom environment. example, we were lectured on and given study guides on specific topics that were taught 3 times more than the material we were actually tested on. The program over all is very well rounded, the teachers are skilled and the school is nice, but it is ALOT of overwhelming information at a fast pace, so I personally would appreciate just a pinch more communication between the instructors to ensure teaching and testing information to work together.
