Meet Dr. Jim Frohnmayer & Dr. Farzin Turk They are part of a 40-year Portland tradition of dental comfort & care. Dr. Frohnmayer is a 1967 graduate & former clinical professor at Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry (OHSU). In his continuing education, he has taken extensive courses in oral bioaesthetics & function, clinical development in restorative materials, cosmetic dentistry & dental laser techniques. Dr. Turk is a 1993 graduate of OHSU School of Dentistry. He has completed extensive training in oral surgery, endodontics, implant placement & restorative & oral esthetics. He completed his postgraduate residency at OHSU. The team at Portsmouth Dental Care uses the latest technology, in conjunction with the best in personalized care, to give you optimal dental health. I have been coming here for years. They are truly the best!!! I had always been nervous about the dentist until I found these guys. They always make sure I am comfortable before starting any kind of treatment. Everyone working there always seems like they are happy and having a good time. I am greeted with a smile and they always remember my name. Dr.Turk and Dr. Frohnmayer have both worked on me and have done some awesome work! The girls that clean my teeth are always sweet and gentle but still very thorough. They are on my insurance list too.
Amazing!!! By far the best doctors and staff out there! I have been seen by both doctors and both of them have always made me feel extremely comfortable and have done absolutely beautiful work. I now actually like going to the dentist. Their staff has always been warm and friendly. Not to mention it seems like my insurance is changing on me at least once a year and they have always taken it. I now live across town but will always drive any distance to still come to them! Highly recommended!!!
