Portland Movers Ready loaded and packed a moving truck for us. Scheduling was a bit of a hassle but it worked out. We thought they had done a decent job until we went to unpack the truck and discovered that they had done a poor job of packing it. We had lots of padding material for them to use, but not much was used. Due to poor placement and the lack of padding, several of our items arrived broken or damaged, including 6 pieces of furniture, lamps and a painting. We've moved several times and have always done our own loading and packing with no problems. It was obvious that our damaged items were packed badly. After our move we received an email asking us to review them if we were satisfied and to let them know if not (so they could do "whatever we can to fix the problem"). We replied with an explanation of our dissatisfaction. It's been a month and we have yet to receive a response from them. Would not recommend.

These folks are awesome. Very cohesive team work. Very fast and efficient. They showed up on time, knew the best way to pack the truck efficiently. Everything fit, nothing was broken. Great price too. Yes, I will use them again and refer them to others.

Used these guys to move my 2nd floor apartment into two moving containers, and they did a great job. They show up on time and get the job done. They were very proficient at packing the containers tightly. The two guys they sent were very professional and courteous. A no frills, affordable moving service that I highly recommend.

Scheduled the start time for my simple unload of a moving pod with no trouble, then got yanked around via late night text messages saying they were going to be late to start, then early the next morning I get woken up by the movers calling to ask 'can we start now?'. In hindsight I suppose I should not have been surprised, but at the previously agreed upon time they did not show up and did not call or text. After waiting over an hour, I called the movers that had said they'd be there, they were 30 miles away and in the middle of another job. Referred me to their boss, who made up stories that 'they are already on their way' not knowing I had just spoken with the movers he is talking about. On the plus side, they ran the charge against my credit card, so I got to confirm that my credit card company is competent at handling fraud complaints and quickly reversing fraudulent charges, that was nice. And after all that, they spam me to join their Google+ circle, and review them online. Ok!

Great service. I hired two movers to help me move from Portland to Beaverton. The movers arrived ready to work, with straps and blankets to help secure the U-Haul, and packed the truck with all of my stuff in such a way that none of it was damaged in the move. Hard working employees, great value, excellent service.

I had a last minute schedule change, as an accident prevented me from getting the moving truck to town in time for my scheduled move. They were so flexible and willing to come either later that night or first thing the next morning. I've used Portland Movers Ready twice now and would not hesitate to recommend them or call them anytime!

I live in Boston, arrived in Portland on a Friday to learn I needed to move my mom to a different nursing home the following Tuesday. I emailed these guys on a Sunday and they were there Tuesday to move her. They did a very professional job, very reasonable price. You do have to hire your own truck and drive it, or find a driver. They packed her room, loaded and unloaded the truck. I strongly recommend them. Kathy
These guys were fantastic. They unloaded our moving van after non-professionals had loaded it. They put our furniture in the rooms we directed them to. They were very careful with our stuff. Nothing was broken or damaged. It was just me and my daughter and I felt very comfortable with them. They were on time and worked steadily for 2 1/2 hours without a break. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again!
The men from Portland Movers Ready were on-time, professional and very helpful. They were a pleasure to work with. I can heartily recommend their services.
Used this company to unload our 2nd storage unit when we relocated to Oregon; unlike the previous company they were fast, careful and cheerful - very careful with our belongings, showed up on time and and the cost was reasonable! We'd recommend them to anyone.

I gave used Portland Movers Ready three times and have recommended them to Realtors, and friends. We were quick, clean, and reasonable to use. You get your money's worth with them.

Three guys showed up to remove hot tub. They bought no tools,and had to borrow mine. They needed the use my truck to remove the hot tub. They destroyed my security lights, and left such a mess that it would make a Marine weep. I was charged $250.00 for one hour, foury five minutes for this.

These guys showed up on time and busted their butts to get us out the door pronto. This is not the first time I have hired movers, but it isn't the last time I am hiring these folks. Professional, courteous and kind. They worked hard for us. Worth every penny.
