Open Meadow Alternative Schools, located in Portland, Ore., provides academic education program and support services. It provides education at middle and high school levels and has served more than 600 youth 10 to 24 years of age. It also offers special programs to students for transition from middle school to high school, and college- and career-oriented courses. It serves various middle schools and provides employment training and internships. It is a consolidated school district and operates the Open Meadow Middle School that serves students in grades six through eight. It offers various programs, such as Setup that offers tutorial classes, mentoring, leadership development and summer enrichment programs. It also operates Open Meadow High School that serves students in grades nine through 12. Its high school offers the Corps Restoring the Urban Environment program that provides higher learning opportunities and emphasizes on natural resources, technology and social services.
