Super friendly staff and Stylist. I have gone through a string of hair stylists in the last couple years and none of them stuck. I have super curly hair that most hair dressers find to be challenging to say the least. After reading so many wonderful reviews, I decided to check Alan out for myself. When I called to make an appointment I was told that Alan loves cutting curly hair and is extremely talented at it.I enjoyed my entire experience. From the head massage when shampooing and conditioning my hair, to the atmosphere, friedly staff, and conversation, Alan exceeded my expectations. My hair has a really great vertical shape now which makes it so much more manageable. He asked that I call in a couple of days to let him know how I was liking it but instead of calling I just decided I would let the stars speak for themselves. Thanks Alan

Positive and Lively Hair Salon located in SE Portland. I had the pleasure of being introduced to the newest addition to the salon, stylist Alan Mandarano. This guy is really into hair and his enthusiasm shows in his work and product. My hair was in bad shape and with a treatment prior to the hair color, my hair felt smooth and silky and is still full of life and shine as I write this (3 weeks later). He is advanced in his cutting & styling, my hair has never flowed so effortless. The space in which he works is extremely pleasant and peaceful. I would recommend the Salon and Stylist to anyone looking for a relaxing, professional, beautifying hair experience. Lauren
