• Fluoride Treatment
  Finally, our hygienist will brush, floss, and polish your teeth to remove any surface stains that have accumulated. At the end of the appointment, we may offer a fluoride treatment which will help strengthen your teeth. You will leave our office with a brighter smile and a healthier mouth.

  At Macadam Dental, we can protect your vulnerable back teeth from decay, by using a product called dental sealants. With this product the incidence of cavities will drop considerably and has been noted as one of the most proactive preventative treatments in dental care.

  Composite is a tooth-colored resin/ceramic filling material of many different forms that can be bonded to your teeth to create an excellent restoration. Moreover, resin is used for white fillings, and in some cases, as an in-office veneer material.

Specifically, this procedure is necessary when the inner pulp of the tooth has become infected or inflamed, often due to deep decay, a crack or chip in the tooth, or repeated dental procedures.

  Occasionally, one of our dentists may recommend that a more involved cleaning, known as periodontal scaling or “deep cleaning”, is necessary. The process involves cleaning the gums and teeth and then smoothing the roots. By having a deep cleaning done our hygienist is able to remove plaque, which is filled with bacteria, from any deep pockets.
