Linfield College, established in 1922, is an independent undergraduate college located in Portland, Ore. The college is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. It offers classes in art, biology, business, chemistry, computer science, environmental science and mass communications. Classes are also offered in health science, humanities, music, learning, political science and economics. Linfield-Good Samaritan School of Nursing is accredited by the Oregon State Board of Nursing and offers a bachelor s degree program in nursing. It also provides degree programs and certificates through online and evening classes. The college has an exchange program with Kanto Gakuin University in Japan. The college also provides library, fine arts center and a music hall to its students.
