About Brett Hall I am always troubled when I hear someone tell me that they are going to be a good criminal defense attorney because they like to argue. My job, while at times requires me to argue to opposing counsel, the prosecutor or the judge, is different. As I have done both prosecution and criminal defense work, I understand your anxiety when facing criminal charges, and while I cannot make it go away in its entirety, I can solve your problems through a pragmatic and proactive approach to each case. I have tried all sorts of criminal cases, from violation of restraining orders to driving under the influence of intoxicants, possession & distribution of a controlled substance to murder. I have successfully defended criminal cases all across the state of Oregon. My philosophy is not to get through your case, but to help you understand the process, assist you in navigating the criminal justice system, and solve your problems.
