Dr. Sheena Kansal’s passion is to provide a genuine, personal and fun dental experience for her young patients. She values establishing a safe, caring and comfortable relationship with her patients and their guardians. Providing exceptional care is one of her utmost goals. Dr. Sheena (as she is called by her staff and patients) was born and raised in Canada. She completed her undergraduate and dental studies from University of Alberta in 2000. After practicing as a general dentist for six years, she relocated to the Pacific Northwest and completed the two year specialty training fellowship at OHSU in Pediatric Dentistry. The training provided clinical experience in infant oral health care, sedation, hospital dentistry, child psychology, anesthesia, medically compromised, orthodontics, mentally and physically disabled. Following her fellowship, she gained hands on experience in the concept “No tears or pain” dentistry which she proudly incorporates currently at Hollywood Children’s Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Sheena is an active member and the immediate past president of the OAPD (Oregon Association of Pediatric Dentist). She has given lectures at the annual AAPD conference (American Association of Pediatric Dentist) and has been a faculty member teaching and guiding dental students in the OHSU Pediatric Dentistry Department.
