  A graduate of University of Oregon School of Law, George A. McCoy is a native to the Portland area and specializes in personal injury law. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. McCoy practiced law in rural Eastern Oregon gaining a wealth of experience in a variety of legal areas.

  If you receive a call from an insurance adjuster, the first item to note is whether this call is from your or the adverse insurance company. For your insurance adjuster, they will likely try to get your personal injury protection or property damage claim set up. Generally, it is okay to talk to your own insurance about this, keeping in mind that your insurance has to cover you, but their primary responsibility is to their shareholders. When you receive a call from the opposing insurance company, they will typically ask you questions including how the accident happened and what the injuries were, and they may try to settle the claim with you before you know the extent of your injuries or begin any type of treatment. Until you are positive of what your permanent or temporary injuries are, we recommend holding off on settling your case. If you have any concerns about talking to an insurance adjuster, you should immediately contact an attorney before supplying them with any information.

Sunny Maxwell worked as a public defender for the Marion County Public Defender’s office before joining Warren Allen LLP’s personal injury team and continues to volunteer as a mentor to new law students in Salem.

  Jeff Bennett represents many of the largest regional and national property management companies doing business in Oregon and Washington all the way down to owners of single family residential homes. He also represents a variety of commercial landlords with lease negotiations, evictions and possessory lien foreclosures. The remainder of Mr. Bennett’s practice emphasizes business law, real estate, commercial litigation, and a variety of general civil matters.

  Ms. White obtained her J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School, where she also earned a Certificate in Federal Tax Law. While attending Lewis & Clark, Ms. White participated in the school’s Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, where she helped clients resolve their income tax disputes with the IRS. Ms. White obtained a B.S.B. in Accounting from the University of Kansas.
