General Info

Established in 1994, Brian Marki Fine Art is a European- inspired gallery exhibiting local, national and international artists. We specialize in contemporary fine art in all mediums, featuring painting, sculpture, photography, glass and fine art prints. Located in the historic Irvington District, we pride ourselves on being a neighborhood gallery, welcoming the casual viewer as well as the collector. In choosing art for the gallery, we look for a quality that is rooted in history but with an eye toward the future – work that lives well in the continuum of art making. We exhibit art that is inviting and meant to be lived with. Brian began his art career in his teens as an artist's apprentice, learning not only how to make art, but also the craft of designing and building frames from the artist's perspective. As a working artist himself, Brian is very aware of the symbiotic relationship between the art, and the vessel that holds and protects it: its frame. Having traveled throughout much of his life, he also brings a broader perspective to the picture framing design process using carefully considered elements to enhance the work being framed. With over 37 years of custom framing experience, we have developed a well-honed sensitivity to the needs of the fine art collector. We are confident that our unparalleled ability to synthesize thoughtful design and superior artisanship will exceed your expectations. We offer high quality custom picture framing with a full compliment of services provided to the collector and artist, as well as the casual customer who needs a frame for a print or photograph. Products: We specialize in contemporary fine art in all mediums, featuring paintings, sculptures, photography, glass, and fine art prints.
