HomeWorks Tri-County Electric Cooperative has been in operation for more than 60 years. It serves more than 20,000 homes and businesses in parts of over 10 counties in Michigan. The cooperative provides a wide range of services to its members, including health care, insurance, housing, food, heating fuel, hardware, credit unions, child care and utility services. It provides information about various electric safety measurements and conducts programs, such as indoor safety, outdoor safety and the Stay Safe During an Electric Storm program. The cooperative also conducts outage preparation and generator safety awareness programs. Additionally, it offers various recreational activities for its members, including district meetings, geothermal seminars, teen days and youth tours and community meetings.
