In her commercial transaction practice, Amy regularly advises individuals and business owners on issues relating to financing, acquisitions, sales, leasing, business structuring, and corporate governance.

  Regularly represent employers and secure favorable decisions in connection with employment discrimination claims before the Maine Human Rights Commission and other government agencies.

  Megan has been with the firm since September 2020. She has over 20 years experience in real estate matters focusing on title abstracting and transactional work. She is a magna cum laude graduate from Simmons College and received her law degree from Maine Law in 2017. She was born and raised in Maine with a stint in Utah, but now resides in Cape Elizabeth. She spends her free time with family and friends with emphasis on riding bikes and skiing with her partner, Erik, and his pup, Lexi.

  In instances where a workout is not feasible due to the size or number of creditor claims, we provide representation for firms pursuing bankruptcy reorganization under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. Depending on the circumstances, we may also advise on a Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing, followed by negotiations with the United States Trustee, to align with your specific objectives.

  Obtained judgment as a matter of law in favor of a homeowner in a foreclosure action and successfully represented the homeowner in a subsequent appeal before the Maine Supreme Judicial Court.
