  Laura’s main practice areas include civil litigation, criminal law, and employment. She works primarily in matters involving personal injury, including automobile accidents and slip and falls. Laura is admitted to practice in all Maine state courts and the United States District Court for the District of Maine.

  Matthew K. Libby, a native of Saco, Maine, joined the firm’s litigation practice group in 2012. Matt is a strong advocate for his clients and since 2015 he has been recognized by his peers as a New England Super Lawyers Rising Star. Matt is admitted to practice in all Maine state courts and the United States Federal Court for the District of Maine. He handles a variety of civil matters, ranging from business disputes to personal injury claims. He also represents clients in state and federal criminal court.

  Kenneth D. Pierce was born in Stamford, Connecticut. He is a 1979 graduate, magna cum laude, of the School of Liberal Arts at Boston College. Ken enjoyed a successful sales career in the medical device industry before obtaining his law degree in 1990 from Northeastern University School of Law. While in law school, he clerked for the Massachusetts Trial Court and worked in the litigation departments of Bingham, Dana & Gould, in Boston, and Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson, located in Portland, Maine. He is admitted to practice in Maine, Massachusetts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine. Ken has extensive civil jury trial experience in federal and state court in all types of litigation including personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, employment, real estate, boundary, insurance coverage and products liability issues. He is also frequently retained as a mediator and arbitrator.

  Martica “Tica” A. Douglas has been a leader in the Maine Bar since 1977.  She specializes in civil litigation of all types and has tried dozens of cases to Maine juries.  Tica is also experienced in appellate law, medical malpractice and insurance coverage matters.  We welcome her sage advice and legal knowledge.
