Not a lot of places in Porterville will help you our when you want your pet rat euthanized. But Dr. Albers was at least willing to do just that .. and in the method I requested. (because of rodent anatomy a shot won't always be instant). "Roo" may just have been a Rat but to us she was a friend and I will be forever greatful to Dr Albers & staff for making the trip easier for her and us.

I took my pet pitt bull there to get spayed. She is shy and not people oriented, but they treated her very well and she had no problems at all healing afterward. I expect vets to treat animals well while I am there, but what happens when owners leave can only be told by the animal itself. My dog was not traumatized in any way, which is amazing because she is so sensitive and gets traumatized easily. She received good care and the hospital is very clean. My sister's dog got hit by a car several years ago. We had to take her to emergency in Visalia and later she was transferred to Sierra Center for a week before we took her home. She is now fully recovered and it is a miracle. They worked out visitation for us and bent over backwards in every way to help us be with her and learn what was going on with her and her recovery. The people are friendly and good at what they do, and Dr. Albers is one of the best!!
